Contribute to ISMRD's Mission to
Understand and Treat Glycoprotein Storage Diseases!

You can participate in ISMRD's mission on behalf of people affected by a Glycoprotein Storage Disease by making a donation. Since ISMRD does not require membership dues, we must rely solely on the volunteer support of the world community that we serve. ISMRD is a U.S. charitable 501 c3 organization; thus, contributions are usually tax-deductible in the United States and in countries that allow this. Please check your own nation's guidelines regarding charitable contributions to determine any tax-deductible allowances.

Donations received by the public can be specified to be used in a number of ways, including:

1.Promotion of research opportunities that one day will result in effective therapies for all Glycoprotein Storage Diseases.

2.Pathways, our free, informative newsletter providing support regardless of national origin. ISMRD requires funding in order to produce and distribute Pathways to our global constituency.

3.Outreach to the public and professional community through our website, informational brochures, ISMRD conferences/workshops and direct contact with scientists, clinicians and other Lysosomal Disease organizations.

4. Let ISMRD allocate your donation to any number of important aspects of our mission.

Contributions can be made in two ways, by Credit Card or by personal check:

1. Credit Card donations are processed through and by JustGive.org, an independent organization that links up donors with nonprofits. To send ISMRD a donation by Credit Card, go to the JustGive.org website, type the letters ISMRD in the searchbox labelled "Search For A Charity " in the upper left-hand corner. Click on our name on the next page that loads and you will be taken to an informational page about ISMRD. To the right of our organization's name click the "Donate Now" button, which will take you to a secure area for processing your donation and to indicate how we should designate your contribution and/or a dedication. Follow the instructions located here to complete your transaction. JustGive.org accepts credit card donations from most countries.

2. A credit card alternate for those living in the United States is Network for Good, an independent nonprofit organization similar to JustGive.org. To send ISMRD a donation by Credit Card, go to the Network for Good website, type the letters ISMRD in the searchbox labelled "Keywords" in the upper left-hand corner under the heading "Quick Search." Click on our name on the next page that loads and you will be taken to an informational page about ISMRD. At the top of this page click the "Donate Now" button, which will take you to a secure area for processing your donation and to indicate how we should designate your contribution and/or a dedication. Follow the instructions located here to complete your transaction. Network for Good accepts credit cards only from those who live in the United States.

2. Personal Check donations should be made out to ISMRD and marked payable in US dollars (for checks originating from outside the United States). Please mail your check to:
