Conference Objectives

The Glycoproteinoses: An International Workshop on Advances in Pathogenesis and Therapy will be a working, invitation-only meeting to provide scientists and clinicians interested in these diseases a forum to discuss potential opportunities for further medical and research breakthroughs. The workshop is sponsored by NINDS with a program developed by the meeting's co-chairs and featuring over 25 invited speakers.

ISMRD's Family Conference program will enable those most intimately affected by a diagnosis for one of these nine diseases to share information, become better educated and to meet professionals attending the workshop. At the conclusion of the four days we hope to realize the opening of new horizons for further collaborations, discovery and hope for future therapies.
